Taking a break from outdoor riding for the month of February is a good idea for most people, right?
We like to lay low during this month, hibernate and look forward to Spring coming. We did not ever guess there would be days approaching 70 degrees in February!
So after a month hiatus, and itching to get back to her lessons, wouldn’t you know that upon returning today we bundled back up with our winter gear, because yes it is STILL Winter although last weeks temps would say otherwise.
After riding in snow, rain and bitter cold… you know that it is something you love.
Both my kids found their passions around age 9. For my son it was, (and still is) baseball. My daughter found horseback riding and has immersed herself into learning as much as she can.
After searching for a riding facility that was not an hour drive and didn’t break my bank every week, we found an awesome family run Equestrian Center.
Rolling Coach Stables in Ivyland, PA. (near Warminster) is an excellent place to receive lessons. They offer horseback riding lessons for beginner to advanced riders. Cori Reich is their resident trainer who has over 20 years of experience. She keeps the riders focused and offers constant support while they are in the ring. She is patient when teaching about tacking and untacking the horse and is always willing to answer any questions her students may have.
So if you have been considering riding, this might be a good fit for you and your family too!.
